Creating art is a way of life. I believe in traveling the world, sharing special meals and celebrating life.

About Me

I studied at the University of Guadalajara in Jalisco, Mexico. My passion is for education and art that celebrates Mexican and Latin American culture.

Los Angeles is my home. Here in California I love to celebrate the diverse stories and cultures that make the tapestry of our communities. There is a lot of beauty and resilience in our struggle.

I am happiest when I am sharing art and cultural events with old friends and new friends. Every day is a gift, and an opportunity to learn and celebrate where we come from. Especially our immigrant brothers and sisters who may find themselves so far from home, I hope to inspire trust in a new identity that is transnational and universal.

My art is a celebration of traditions as much as a challenge to outdated values. We are all beautiful and our roots are beautiful. But our future shines brightest of all.

My Mexican culture is present in everything I do, but I am constantly embracing and incorporating the beautiful lessons of the many people and nationalities present in my home and my travels.
